Lauren Scoggins, Director of Development, is a graduate of Presbyterian College with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. She began her career in fundraising at the State House, raising money for political campaigns and caucus activities. During that time, she also served as a Volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for children in Kershaw County. Her work as a Guardian Ad Litem served as the foundation of a love for helping abused and neglected children in South Carolina.
After getting married, Lauren moved to Greenville in 2007 and began working in community development for the March of Dimes. She is excited to use her fundraising and special events experience to benefit the children served by Pendleton Place.
