Leslie Whiteside, Volunteer Coordinator, is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology. She began her career at Pendleton Place in September 2008 starting as a Child Care Specialist but quickly moved to Shift Supervisor. With working knowledge of the shelter and hands on experience with the children, Leslie is able to quickly identify the areas of need in the shelter and match volunteer’s talents and skills with those needs.
